A team of US researchers from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia has put a fact under light that obese patients may suffer complications during spinal surgery. These researchers brought out this revelation after reviewing 332 cases of thoracic and lumbar spinal surgery.

The researchers found that most of obese people who had undergone back surgery suffer from various complications, which include infections in wounds, heart problems and even blood clotting. On the other hand, those lanky patients who underwent back surgery, most of them, were without any complication.

This is really a wonderful research and by clutching the strands of this research, I hope scientist will surely make their way to save obese people from such complications.
