A new study, standing nose to nose with studies conducted earlier, states that high-fat diet does not add to the chances of breast cancer in older women. For their study, researchers studied about 80,000 women, this study went on for 20 years, and finally it was concluded that they didn’t find any link between the fat intake during middle age or later age and breast cancer. At the same time, it shattered away the conclusions erected by previous studies by exposing the fact that intake of higher fat diet was found reducing the risk of breast cancer among women with insulin resistance.
However, it does not mean that adding more and higher fat diet is good for women. Giving went to the same idea lead study author Dr. Esther H.J. Kim said: ‘However, women should not feel this is a free pass to eat as much fat as they want.’
No doubt, this study has naked wonderful conclusion but because the conclusions of the studies conducted earlier and the conclusion of this new study are contradictory, they may leave women at sea.
