Researchers have come up with a new tactic that may help youths in shedding off their extra fat. These researchers after studying about 103 teens came to a conclusion that if parents want to come out successfully with their mission to lessen the calorie intake of their children then they must move ahead strategically. They should not ask their children to lessen the intake of low or non-caloric drinks but should provide them with their favorite drinks that contain low or nominal calories.

In the words of Lona Sandon, a spokeswoman for the American Dietetic Association and a registered dietitian at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas: ‘This works because it is a small change.’

I think with this strategy it would be easy for the parents to control the calorie intake of their kids to some extent and they will get through in shedding off the extra flab of their kids.
