Good news for chips lovers who had to shun their chips eating passion just because they were adding to their flab as now food processor of French fries and potato products, McCain has come out with a new range of frozen oven chips. More interesting is the fact that these frozen oven chips have been delineated as ‘healthy chips’ by the Food Standards Agency’s traffic-lights labeling system.
As per the statement of a spokesperson for McCain, ‘They contain no cholesterol and can help achieve a healthy, balanced diet without too much sacrifice.’
It means those who were suppressing their desire for eating chips has now all doors opened. However, I also think that people going to shop to buy these chips may also tilt to buy other chips, in case they don’t find this specific kind of chips.
Therefore, possibility of rise in the demand of other chips can also not be ruled out.
