Kidney transplant, especially if you are obese may worsen your health condition. A new study that tracked several patients has divulged this startling fact. Besides, this study evinces that survival chances of obese people after kidney transplant are titular and such people are more likely to suffer organ failure after kidney transplant.
Another fact coming out of this study states that six percent of the patients with BMI higher than 30, died within first year after transplant while this was not the case with patients whose BMI was measured below 30.
Actually, this is not the first study that shows the negative impact of obesity on our health but on medical treatments as well. Most of us know that obesity gives rise to several health related problems among which diabetes, depression, cardiovascular diseases more prominently comes out and this study, one again confirms that obesity is a major hindrance in health gain and if are really concerned about our health then we will not have to let it grow.
