Erectile Dysfunction



Obesity and smoking habit, together, increases not only the risk of cancer and diabetes but curtails your sex power too. It may cause Erectile Dysfunction (ED) in you. Physical activities help to keep the ED away from men. ED may lead, further, to heart problems because it is a good sign of coming heart problems.



Eric Rimm, of the Harvard School of Public Health and his associates concluded a research on the effects of smoking and obesity. They compared obese men, who did some exercise with people who were not obese and did half-an-hour exercise a day. They found a 2.5-fold difference in risk of ED between both groups.



Smoking was also linked with a greater risk of ED among men who previously had good erectile function. The Journal of Urology has published the report. Pfizer, Inc., supported the research and the National Institutes of Health granted the fund.
