Asthma is risky for pregnant women but the obesity in pregnant woman is more dangerous. The medical journal Obstetrics and Gynecology has published the report.
Dr. Israel Hendler and his team said that if pregnant woman has obesity and asthma together, the obesity poses major health threat than asthma during pregnancy.
Asthmatic women go through cesarean deliveries in most of the cases and more preeclampsia. This happens because of obesity not because of their asthma problem. They are more obese and not because of their asthma status.
Hendler of Hutzel Hospital-Wayne State University, Detroit, and a multicenter team concluded the study. The researchers said, further, that more study is necessary on the various effects of obesity during pregnancy.
