Obesity may lead to Psychiatric disorders

Obese people are at twenty-five percent higher risk to develop psychiatric disorders. They may develop symptoms of depression, panic disorder and bipolar disorder. According to the researchers of US Group Health Center for Health Studies, the association works in both sides. The important thing is to understand its impact on health. The Archives of General Psychiatry has published the report. The researchers found further that the occurrence of incidence of depression among obese people is greater in social and cultural groups where obesity is less common.
