junk-food_64A new study by Dr Anoop Misra, director and head, department of diabetes and metabolic diseases, Fortis Hospital and WHO expert in childhood obesity and his team has divulged that 28 percent of the students in Delhi, in India are overweight.

The alarming thing behind this disclosure is that whereas in the year 2004 this percentage was 16to 18 percent while now it has reached the figure of 28 percent.

Obesity often leads to various other problems, which may include diabetes, stroke, liver diseases, infertility, hypertension, arthritis and even cancer.

Don’t you think something should be done earnestly to check this rise in obesity?
