Ministry of Health in New Zealand issued a fifty-seven page report on the rising obesity problem in the country. It says that more than half of the country’s adults are obese in New Zealand. Further, it states that about thirty-three percent of people over the age of fifteen consider as overweight.



According to the Minister of Health, Pete Hodgson, the obesity epidemic is fast becoming the most critical public health challenge in front of the government. Forty percent of the people are having the suggested five-plus a day serving of fruit and vegetables in the country.
