A new study says that eating more fish can raise the risk of atrial fibrillation in some people. While previous researches have advised to eat oily fish or take, fish oil supplements to cure heart disease.
Omega-3 fatty acids usually link to recover from heart disease. Now this new study is not clear on the benefits of omega-3 fats. The research has released at the Heart Rhythm Society’s annual meeting in Boston.
Omega-3 fatty acid is said to encourage the development of atrial fibrillation in younger people. At the same time, it prevents it in older people who have other medical problems.
The other experts say that the study is yet not clear about the effects of omega-3 fats in general population with heart rhythm problems.
