Kids in British Schools will not get whole milk now. It is to be banned in the campaign against childhood obesity in U K. Only skimmed and semi-skimmed milk will be allowed to sell in the schools.
From the month of September, this new measure will take place in all state schools. It will apply to the milk served during lunch break and to vending machines as well. On the other hand, a dairy farmer criticized the move by saying, ‘I take it as an absolutely and improper step. It will establish full milk to be linked with junk food’.
