obesity
With changing lifestyles and social environment, our concern about our looks, our personalities, our social value and contribution has increased. But on the contrary, as per the statistics obesity is on a rise and our fast lifestyle is pretty responsible for that. Children like chips more then vegetables, the intake of aerated drinks is more then water itself, pizza culture is what some are existing on. Well, you may think that it was just last week you had a hamburger or it is just twice a week you have ‘junk food’, but that too affect you greatly. At the initial stages, the symptoms are hideous and you don’t worry about them at all, you only realize when you feel that your jeans are not fitting or the waists are too tight.

As per the experts, an American lifestyle (which includes a great deal of junk food) can add about 20 pounds to your weight straight. Also, an average American, thanks to their eating habits and exercises, gains one or two pounds each year on their way to adulthood. But all of us know that returning to a healthy and disciplined diet, doing some regular and effective exercises, can really help out.

When we grow up, especially during adulthood everyone experiences some weight gain. However, that isn’t normal at all. It not only changes your physique and personality, it affects your daily routine and also increases the risk of diseases like diabetes, arthritis in the later stages. It damages our joints, increases the risk of heart problems and also can cause cancer especially colon and breast cancer. On the different note, it is considered fine to gain some 11 pounds after adulthood.

One can try various alterations in the diet, can go for a balanced calorie diet, and add some exercises to their daily routine to cut on the weight gain. The more you work lesser the chances of weight gain, meaning thereby that your activity chart does matter. I won’t advise you to stop eating but you can always opt for sugar free drinks, raw vegetables, fruits, whole grains and cereals. A high protein diet will also fill your stomach and also cut down the calories intake.

These changes may sound small and may not show results initially, but they can really bring a significant change.
