According to a new research, the extract of Korean pine nut can prove effective by suppressing appetite, thereby helps to prevent obesity. It contains pinolenic acid that helps to curb the appetite and providing a feel of full stomach for most of the time. The appetite suppressors- cholecystokinin and glucagons-like peptide rose to 65 percent and 25 percent respectively. In addition, UK has approved a new obesity drug, called Rimonabant manufactured by French company Sanofi Aventis. Besides this, experts are working to develop a vaccine against Adenovirus-36 responsible for weight gain. In my opinion, it is a praiseworthy finding that can aid obese people. It is an herbal medication with no side- effect at all and the efforts created for developing drugs as well as vaccine can provide a sigh of relief to obese to a great extent.

According a study by Simmons Market Research Bureau, TV habits found to be responsible for weight gain. Of the total population, 35 percent viewers found to be obese those prefer to watch crime dramas on prime TV. However, no facts were provided whether a certain kind of TV drama leads a person to obese or an obese person prefers to watch such crime dramas. Moreover, the study by using the guidelines of The National Institutes of Health found some of the viewers prefer to watch weight loss products ads having weight proportional to their heights. As per my thinking, for one reason it can be true as watching TV for long hours leads to weight gain due to no involvement of physical activity. But I don’t agree that a certain kind of crime dramas to be responsible for obesity.

Obese need to cheer up. Taking seaweed brown in color in diet can heal the ‘disease’. Brown Seaweed, that contains high levels of a compound called fucoxanthin in contrast absent in red and green seaweeds. Brown seaweed is one of the ingredients of Japanese miso soup. Trials were conducted on rats and lost weight was found, especially in the abdominal area. The test also concludes that fucoxanthin stimulates a protein UPC1 to collapse the fat of the body. I think the treatment tends to be natural with no side-effects. Till the time it develops into anti-obesity tablet; one can use it as an eatable by preparing soup or vegetable to get a delightful treatment. But it is also essential to alter your lifestyle as just having seaweed you can’t heal either you need to be conscious about diet and work activity.

Obesity is the most prevalent ‘disease’ affecting the women population to a great extent. It is the birth place of several other diseases. Therefor, today’s women need to take proper care of the body by maintaining ideal weight. A recent study found that obese women are at a high risk of getting affected with asthma – up to 85 percent. With rise in each unit of BMI, the risk for asthma goes up to 6 percent in women rather 3 percent in men. In addition, obese women with non allergic nature found to have 9.5 percent risk for asthma. I think obesity can be blamed for asthma. Women need to be conscious about their rising weight. In case, you are an asthma patient, try to reduce weight.

Obesity is affecting people worldwide. And to prevent it people are making several efforts. But what about kids? Obesity amongst children is reducing at a slower rate and requires focus of the parents, schools, health societies and organizations to develop some fresh and new programs for coping obesity. Parents need to watch their child eating habits and provide them to perform work which include physical activity and even limit the TV viewing hours of the child. Schools require children to provide physical education and recess periods along with academic sessions, moreover, organize various programs attaching to physical activity performance such as matches, games, bicycle racing etc. Likewise, health societies and organizations must also come forwar and kick start some exciting and attractive programs to get over it.

If the answer is ‘yes’ you need to pay attention as your tiny tot may be affected with obesity. Don’t neglect the growing fat in your infant. Obesity is now gripping towards these little infants. It tends to be difficult for the parents to identify obesity as a serious problem for their child. So, it becomes compulsory for parents to weigh their infant regularly. Who know, the obese infant might invite diabetes and heart diseases at an early age? These obese infants may have high cholesterol levelsk, same as found in adults. First of all, a mother need to be conscious about her infant’s weight.
